A few years ago my husband began making custom wire heddle threaders for my students to use in rigid heddle weaving classes. They have been so popular with students that we decided to make a batch to offer to the public. These wire threaders work really well for threading the eye of rigid heddles, without having to worry about fraying or snagging the yarn. They are great multi-purpose tools and also quite handy for tucking in chunky yarn ends on cloth, and for threading the eye of tapestry needles. They each have a comfortable hand-turned cherry handle, and stainless steel wire.

Please note that each of these tools is handmade so there will be subtle differences between each.
