A Handweaver’s Pattern Book, by Marguarite P. Davison, is one of the classic weaving pattern books in the states. Davison worked to collect weaving patterns and drafts in an effort to keep the craft alive. This book contains 345 threadings for four harness looms, showing an array of designs that can be created with just a handful of harnesses. Originally published in 1944, this revised edition was part of the twenty-ninth printing, printed in March 1996 . This is a vintage book in good used condition. The dust cover has a few small tears, some sun-fading, and a few mild scuffs. The pages inside are all in good shape—I’ve found no dog-ears or notes written inside. The front hard cover is ever so slightly bowed out as though something heavy was placed on it at some point in time.
