A Handweaver’s Pattern Book, by Marguarite P. Davison, is one of the classic weaving pattern books in the states. Davison worked to collect weaving patterns and drafts in an effort to keep the craft alive. This book contains 345 threadings for four harness looms, showing an array of designs that can be created with just a handful of harnesses. Originally published in 1944 this revised edition was printed in 1977. This is a vintage book in fair used condition. The dust cover has some tears, scuffs, and fading. A handful of the pages have been dog-eared by a previous owner and I have left them as-is. There is also one handwritten note in pencil from a previous owner. Again, it has been left—I love finding little notes from other weavers.
