Warping boards, also known as warping frames, are an essential weaving accessory used to measure out warps and to create the ever-important cross in the warp yarn.

These Ashford warping frames are made in New Zealand and are made of solid wood. Warp frame ships as four lacquered rails with the wooden pegs securely in place. The frame is then simply put together using the accompanying bolts.

The 14’ (4.6 yards) warping frame is great for working with the Ashford Katie loom. For all other loom sizes the 37’ (12.3 yards) frame is recommended.

The 37’ board is in stock and ready for same-day pickup. The 14’ is special order and will take about two-three weeks for delivery.
