I’m a creature of habit. Every evening (weather permitting) I like to relax by sitting in the rocker, putting my feet up, and snuggling down with a handwoven lap blanket, just big enough to cover my extended legs and lap, without dragging on the floor below. These new blankets were inspired by the one I made for myself years ago. The blankets were woven using a deflected double-weave structure that creates two unique, yet equally exciting sides to the cloth. Each blanket was hemstitched on the loom and the fringe was cut to a tidy 1” long.

Fibers: There are two yarns in this blankets, the camel is a silk/wool blend, and the grey and/or cream is/are an alpaca/wool blend.

Dimensions: Approximately 33” x 46”

Care: Hand wash in cool water. Air dry. It can be washed like you would a wool sweater. Do not agitate while wet.
