This soft and warm shawl scarf is perfect for spreading out wide across the shoulders, or scrunched up and wrapped around the neck for a chunky scarf. This original design is a variation on a technique called deflected double weave, which allows bold geometric patterns to take shape. It has been combined with a twill border. This piece has been finished with twisted fringe on each side. I trick of the eye with color play makes it look like a chunk of cloth suddenly changes at one end of the piece.
