This handwoven wall piece was inspired my sitting on a particular bench, in front of a particular pond at Platt Farm. It is meant to represent a quiet moment of relaxation, as stress begins to clear away.

It was the winner of the Handweavers Guild of America’s 2023 Small Expressions show and traveled for a year around the country as part of that exhibition.

12” x 12”. Handwoven hand-dyed silk and hand-dyed cotton with silk. The handwoven textile has been stitch to a linen canvas backing that is attached to wooden stretchers. Ready for framing, or can hang on the wall as-is. This is how it traveled for exhibition.
